I didn’t run for Ahmaud Arbery today.

I truly love all the people out running 2.23 miles for the executed-in-broad-daylight, Ahmaud Arbery. I know that for many of us, going for a run is about all we can do to feel some sense of purpose. I mean, we aren’t the prosecutors who ignored this murder for two months. We aren’t the racists who see a black man exercising and think he is a criminal. We aren’t the thousands who will undoubtedly come to the defense of the two domestic terrorists who I am sure Trump will call “very fine people.” But I didn’t run 2.23 miles for Ahmaud today. It just doesn’t seem worth it.
